The Valentines are heading over the border to Wales to join forces once again with the Phoenix Choir of Wales for a special joint concert on Saturday night.
The two choirs have sung together twice before, on our summer tour to Swansea two summers ago and then the guys visited us for a concert out at Alverley.
Both Choirs are introducing new pieces into the concert repertoire, and we are sure the concert will be well supported on Saturday night.
So another successful tour comes to an end, the ladies had a fabulous time visiting Liverpool, taking in the sights, and two successful concerts. Here are a few pictures from our 2016 tour.
It’s that time of year again! The Valentines are getting ready to go on their annual concert tour, and this year we are off to Liverpool.
From our base on The Wirral the ladies will be enjoying the sights of Merseyside between the 27th and 31st July.
On Thursday 28th we are singing informally in the two fabulous Cathedrals, 11-11.30 at the Metropolitan and 2.30 at the Anglican, and we have two evening concerts booked, Friday 29th with Liverpool Male Voice Choir at the Nordic Church (L1 8HG) and Saturday 30th with the Castle Singers at Heswell Parish Church (CH60 0AJ) so please come along and join us if you are in the area!
So another Summer Tour has come to an end and once again a fabulous time was had by all as we visited beautiful South Wales. Visits to Mumbles, Langland Beach, Rhossilli, The Gower Heritage Centre and The National Botanic Garden of Wales, and of course a spot of singing too!
We had two wonderful concerts with Swansea Male Choir and The Phoenix Choir, and the afterglow get to togethers post concert were some of the best we have ever had. Thank you gentlemen for your hospitality and we hope to see you here in Worcestershire before very long!
